UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Spring 2020

Updated:   Published

I thought I'd start this feed now. I applied in January. I know I'm early but I'm not much of a procrastinator. I just retook my Hesi and got a 89.2.. I feel I need to take it over but, some people are saying they don't even know UT's selection process. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

Hi guys, here are my stats! They aren’t nearly as competitive, but if I don’t get accepted (a great possibility) then I’m applying for the Summer of 2020. Who else is planning on applying for the summer if not accepted?

Here are my stats:

Pre-req GPA: 3.50

Science GPA: 3.56

HESI Composite Score: 86.8%

English - 82.67%

Anatomy & Physiology - 96%

Math - 90%

Good luck to everyone! ?

If I don’t get accepted I am planning on applying to Summer 2020 also! It’s my first time applying but it looks like it’s not uncommon for people to go through a few application rounds before they get in. Honestly, judging from past threads the stats for people who were accepted are all over the place so I think you are definitely competitive. I am sure anyone on here who applied for fall and got denied will tell you the same thing!

Hi, so I applied for Fall 2019 and didn't get in. For this cycle, do I have to send my official transcript again, or should they still have it?

Not unless you have new coursework

I called and was told that they had done my transcript evaluation and it was going to be sent by mail. So maybe we will start getting those soon ?.

Also, I am sending my last transcript with the graded course work I just completed. I had enough hours to apply and be considered before taking these last two prereqs, but I would really like them to include this transcript when they consider my application because it’s got my A&P2 grade on it. This may be a dumb questions, but does anyone know if I have to notify them that I have an additional transcript or will they automatically include it when they put my application together for the board?

If your initial application was submitted with a transcript that shows you had work in progress then they will already be expecting it. Just send it and they will include it in your application.

Hey guys, so i’m Trying to send in my transcript for hcc, but I don’t know how. It says it should be sent to the office of the registrar , but they also told me to send it to [email protected]. So which one is it?

HCC is electronic, so just select University of Texas Health Science Center Houston from the drop down on the send list.

The transcript service at HCC will send you an email once your transcript has been received by UTH (usually 24 busibess hours) then you would just need to keep an eye on your UTH to-do list to see if it comes off (usually within 48 business hours)
