Just wanted to start a thread for those that have applied to the cohort starting in 2019 for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's CRNA program. Anyone out there? Look forward to hearing from you all.
Sure,
I would know all the receptor sites for Drips and Induction meds. I would know how they all work at the cellular level (at least having an idea of what the second messenger system is and why it matters). The best advice is to keep the conversation focused on the areas that you are strong because anything thing you say that you sound minimally weak on they are going to pounce on. If there is something they ask that you have a little bit of knowledge on... don't go there, steer it back to your solid knowledge base. Don't be afraid to say you do not know and even ask for a small teachable moment, this shows you are hungry and receptive. BTW, there are about 14 people in this interview from one side of your peripheral vision to the other. It will become rapid-fire at some point, take a breath and think. Good luck

Thank you for your time, I know it is precious, especially right now!
I feel like I should concentrate on basic ICU drips, my ventilator settings, and basic ICU care? Ive heard some prospective students studying down to the G protiens and ions... Is this way too in depth?
