Hello!

I was accepted into the UT Arlington MSN FNP AO program to start the Spring 2019 semester. I'm trying to find fellow classmates who will be on the same journey.

I just completed my RN-BSN AO @ UTA last month and will graduate this December.

I look forward to meeting everyone who will share this experience with me.

I am also starting 2/25, I am nervous, scared, anxious, excited....

Are any of you on our Spring 2019 Facebook group? Search UTA FNP Online Spring 2019

I've been following this thread since the website was turned off and I was so upset I couldn't talk with any of you! Luckily someone made a group! Hope to see you all there I'm sure some of you already are!

Hi Nadia,

Did you start already this spring semester and if so, how is it going? i am about to start february 25 start date and want to see how the classes are

Hi!

I got accepted for spring 2019, I am starting feb/25... would like to find others for study group/support.. I am from Laredo..

Does anyone know if the FNP program at UTA is still only open to Texas and California?

What school is this? How long is the program and how much does it cost altogether? Do they need RN experience or is a BSN good enough?

I’m looking at applying to UTA FNP. I’m a Texas resident but currently living abroad. I was trying to figure out if I could line up the three clinical sessions to be completed in the summers while home. Does anyone know if that schedule would work with their program? TIA

I am starting in the Fall of 2019 (August 12). To those of you who started in the Spring 2019, how are things going? I just wanted to get a feel for how classes were, etc.

Hi cmillerva,

I am from Rancho Viejo TX and I am planning on starting either UTA or TAMUCC post master s FNP in Spring 2019. Following this post just in case. Still undecided.

Hi, I recently got accepted to the UT Arlington post masters OA FNP Program for Spring 2019. I’d like to network with anyone who’s in the same boat. Start date 4-8-19

Hey! I’ve been enrolled for awhile and currently taking Advanced Patho... I’ve taken research, theories, ethics, roles in advanced practice nurse and this is the first course that has Exams. Other courses were papers and discussion boards. If you write everything in APA format and use good sources, you’ll make an easy A! Patho is time consuming, challenging but interesting.

Thank you for your input! Do you think it is better to take all those theoretical courses like ethics and research first before the actual professional courses?

My current degree plan has some random order, I think. I just completed Nursing theories and doing Research right now. My next course is Patho..
