Hello everyone!

Anyone starting UT Arlington's Spring 2018 FNP online program? If so, congrats!

I'm located in the Rio Grande Valley, South Texas. Looking for a study group! I have a friend who just finished FNP school and told me to start reviewing A&P. I found a great website for refresher and have bought a Clinical Guidelines that she also recommended.

I'm so excited to start! Let me know if you are in and where you are from:)

I am starting FNP in spring 2018 too.I am from dallas

Area.is anyone from dallas area? This is my first time online course, kind a confuse with webcam and tripod

Which one I need to buy.i went to Best Buy yesterday . Can anyone help me with that?

I will be starting this month also. I was supposed to start back in September but I didnt and decided to start this week for 1/15. How long did it take everyone to get their degree plan? Anyone know of a Facebook group?

I received my degree plan within 1 or 2 weeks of being accepted into the program. I haven't seen any Facebook groups for spring '18 group

I won't be needing the webcam until my patho class. 1st course doesn't require webcam as far as I know

Thanks for reply.

I have applied for the UTA FNP online program that starts in the fall. I am just finishing my BSN through UTA. Can any of you tell me how its going so far for you.

I work full time and have 3 children. I'm a little worried about the time required and if the courses are a lot more difficult than the BSN courses.

I'm a little late but I just found this post.

I'm not in the FNP, but the PMHNP full time. I just started clinicals but have done the entire track full time while working full time. I am not married and have no children so this has been possible for me. If you work full time and have children I would recommend taking the program part time. If you are single full time work full time classwork is entirely possible. HOWEVER, big however: Once you start clinicals it is not possible to work full time and take more than one clinical at a time. Each clinical requires 180 hours and the last clinical requires 360 hours. You have to make a choice between full time work or dropping to one clinical at a time. Good luck and I hope this helps y'all plan for the future!

Hey guys I'm in research at the moment, but I want to get ahead on my patho class which is next. Does any one know what sections or chapters they start with? Thanks!
