Hi! I've done extensive research and am narrowing down my search for the RN-BSN online program.. I do not
Live in Texas and am wondering if I will pay out of state tuition (I'm assuming I will), just not finding much info on that aspect. I would like to hear from those that are or have taken this program. How long is the admission process?
Thanks for your time! :)

You pay the affordable in-state tuition regardless of where you live. However, the major drawback is a Texas law that requires students to take Texas History and/or Texas Government if they wish to be granted a degree from a school based in Texas.
Other affordable RN-to-BSN programs include Fort Hays State Univ. ($182 per credit), Univ. of Louisiana at Lafayette ($290 per credit) and Western Governors (flat rate of $3250 per six month term).

I'm in Mass. and took this program. I finish in a few weeks. I found it to be very affordable (no in/out of state, same rate for all) and the selling point for me was that it is an actual brick and mortar school. I personally don't like the stigma that comes with online-only institutions. The fact that this school is regionally AND nationally accredited was huge too as I know I want an advanced degree so having a properly accredited school was important.
Awesome news!! Thanks! How was the fin aid process? Clinicals?

There aren't clinicals per se. For some courses, you will be required to do things like shadow a BSN/MSN at work, perform and document a physical assessment on someone of your choice, interview an elder for a "life review", et cetera. It's not too bad.
No clue about financial aid.
