Hello! This week is my week 2 of classes and I would love to meet/talk to fellow nurses who are also in the UT Arlington FNP Online program that started May 2022. Would love to join a study group or just chat about the program and help each other out. It would be nice to have a support group!

Hello! How are you liking the program so far? I'm looking in to applying to FNP and not sure yet since the program UTA offers is more than 2 years. Any feedback?

This program is horrible. You will not have any support, and you teach yourself. Once you get into the practicum courses or acute care courses (the last 2) if you are on the acute care track, you have to use the UTA library or Google scholar to do you case studies or discussion boards. Or you have to ask a physician at work. I was also told you do not learn anything until you do your clinicals. Enter with caution for sure. It is a waste of money and the instructors and coaches are lazy. The lectures are outdated and provide useless information on power point slides uploaded in a PDF file with over 200 slides for each lecture. It is overwhelming and you could get lost trying to study. I am so disappointed.
Oh no! Thank you for the feedback. Are you still in the program? Will you message me to talk more? 818 808-7203. I’m worry now because I applied and waiting to be accepted… was the exams hard? I’m used online studying since thats how my BSN was but I don’t know what to do now! I have a friend at Walsh university and she liked the program but it’s 47k vs 30 at UTA… hope to hear from you!

What do you mean by no support and you are on your own?
