UTA AP BSN Program Spring 2011 Hopefuls

Published

Hi all,

I am applying for the AP BSN Program for the Spring 2011 and was wondering if anyone has received any word on the acceptance letter or any information in general? I am really hoping to get into the program for Spring of 2011 and am extremely nervous. I honestly dont think ill be able to get into the program because my GPA isn't as competitive as others who are applying. Well any information on anything will be extremely helpful!

i talked to the lady today at uta and she told me that you do not have to keep the job after being accepted, and the reccomend that you do not work more than part time obviously since this is an accelerated program!

@Courtneylynch1890....Thanks for the update! Good to know!

Wondering if any of you that have already completed Pharmacology could tell me what to expect as far as that class goes??!! I'm taking it in Aug and would like to know how the class is structured and what I can expect.....thanks!!

Hi...Just wondering if anyone has been accepted to UTA's nursing program. I've taken the HESI exam and received an 82% score...and my overall GPA is 3.7 on my prerequisites... Please advice. Thanks!

Hi,

I see you where accepted in the Ap program and i just wondering how it's going? I applied in June and still waiting for a letter :( and i'm dying over here. Do you have any advise or suggestions on being successful in the program?

Hi there, oh no.. I hvae not been accepted. I guess I am still waiting to hear whether or not I can start the program (finishing the pre-reqs). You applied in June and have not heard anything yet? Do you work for one of the partner hospitals?

If you are still on the message board -- could you elaborate on thing you said about NOT having to keep your job after being accepted.

Do you mean if you work at a Academic Partnership hospital -- you don't have to keep working there? How do you complete your clinicals? Or does the partner hospital not help you with setting these up OR does UTA Nursing help you set clincals up OR do you have to do this all on your own.

Thanks
