  1. Thanks Shasta12 I kept on going last semester and completed A&P II (B) and Tech writing (A). My personal problems are still getting me down. I was intending to start into to pro nursing on the 16th, but I decided to put it off. I am thinking of completing the courses that can be used at ANY nursing program I apply to. (Thinking also UTMB, UT Houston or now looking at direct entry NP). Didn't know there were direct entry NP programs and I want to be a NP at the end of all this. I have just decided to go at whatever pace I feel comfortable and everything WILL work out!
  2. Yes you can take all courses through UTA if you want. General courses & the pre-nursing required. Just read through the requirements under academic partnership BSN. I'm not sure about SA for clinicals, but I'm sure that's spelled out too on the website.
  3. Thanks katybusymom!!!!
  4. another poster on allnurses suggested ocean City College's Chem -- does anyone have experience with this online school? Or experience taking Chem online that would be easier than uta's online offering? Thanks
  5. @kswilliams1107 good luck with Spring 2012 start. I am not ready to apply to upper level -- still completing prereqs
  6. @tejas03 thanks very much for the words about chem I have been plotting mentally for the last week Including a plan B school thanks to the discussions here on the boards LOL Thank you and good luck with the rest of the semester
  7. @tejas03 probably won't be @ pharm until the summer @ earliest I need algebra to get to chem And chem to get to pharm I am a non-science person (undergrad & graduate) REALLY Making a career change
  8. tejas03 -- we'll be in A&P II together too! I think I have a better plan this time; I finished with a B and I was grateful! should I take A&P II, & Intro & Tech writing at the same time or should I save tech writing for spring? just trying to hurry (but make good grades, yet not totally crack up mentally) so I can just apply
  9. ok just offering a potential answer why they may have kicked you out; but by now you've figured that out good luck to you
  10. anyone have anything to report since they've started???
  11. exam online too so you can take where every you are in the world if you have compatible browser
  12. @texan2011 take in with UTA, unless you can't afford also LOVED textbook because it has an online web enabled feature if you activate or your can use the ipad app --- LOVE LOVE LOVE this instead of carrying around the textbook while you travel
  13. just finished A&PI online with Frederick not too bad but overwhelming at times official grade posts tomorrow quizzes are open book labs are open book lab practicals and exams (50 ques X 4 exams) are closed book comprehensive final (100 questions) lectures recorded and posted online -- can download to itunes or other player too many lecture slides if you decide to print cd rom and websites for extra practice very helpful you can drop the lowest quiz & test so far I have a B -- hoping for a curve though
  14. txsuzy or anyone who started in sept how are you doing? Anyone at Good Shepherd in Longview TX?
  15. lurking and waiting for A&PI final results to post tomorrow before I decide whether to take A&PII with tech writing AND into to pro nursing or tech writing OR into to pro nursing -- suggestions anyone who is doing them on UTA AP program online?
