Hey you guys! I'm making the thread to hopefully communicate and share stories with those who are applying to the nursing program at UT Tyler for the spring semester of 2019.

I also applied to UT Tyler! But I applied to the Longview campus! How was your teas score?

I got a 84 on the TEAS. What about you? And do you know if you can only apply to one or the other?

Good luck to you guys, just applied and am super nervous already! I got a 82 on TEAS and my total points are 87 if I get full points for the video.

Hi everyone! I also applied for the ABSN program at Tyler. My TEAS score is an 86. Does anyone know what courses the prerequisite GPA consists of on the point sheet (not the nursing prerequisite GPA)

The non-nursing prerequisites are English I & II, History I & II, US Govt, TX Govt, Statistics, Creative Arts (I took art appreciation), Human expression (I took speech), Lang. Phil/culture (took world literature), and two electives

Good luck to you as well! Anybody care to share their scores/stats? I saw that last year found out about acceptances around October 17/18.

Hi everyone!

I applied for the accelerated program and here are my stats:

Core Curriculum GPA: 3.56

Nursing Pre-Requisites GPA: 3.65 (I got AP credit for Intro to Psych and Statistics)

TEAS: 85

My total score will be 89.91, assuming I get all the points for the video!

Would anybody else like to share their stats? When do y'all think we'll start hearing back?

Core GPA: 3.69

Nursing GPA: 3.43

TEAS: 86

My score will be around an 87 assuming I get all the points on the video!

I graduated with a BS in Biomedical Sciences w/ a Spanish minor from Texas A&M.
