  1. Hey Haley! I also accepted an offer for the OR! I would love to connect with you- add me on FB Meaghan Whaley!
  2. It was a phone call offer and I had previously sent the recruiter references so she told me to expect an email sometime within the next few weeks with next steps.
  3. I received and accepted an offer today from the OR!
  4. Hi everyone, I received my email today stating that I was waitlisted. I received 23 points. Good luck to everyone.
  5. I got a 84 on the TEAS. What about you? And do you know if you can only apply to one or the other?
  6. Wow you did really well on your English section. That is the one that I had the most trouble with. Do you have any advice or tips on studying for that section?
  7. Hey everyone!! I am planning to apply for the Spring 2019 semester and thought I'd share my stats. I have a 3.89 GPA in my pre-reqs and an overall 82.7% on the TEAS (1st attempt). I am planning on retaking the TEAS within the next month with hope of getting over a 92%. After using the points spreadsheet, I currently have 41 points. I feel like I need at least a 54 to be competitive, especially if this pool is anything like the Fall 2018! If I can get a 92% in all areas, I will have 54.4 points. If I can get a 95% in all areas, I will have 59 points. It is crazy that with an 3.89 GPA that I feel like I need to take the TEAS again for over a 90%. It is definitely doable so fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone!
  8. Hey you guys! I'm making the thread to hopefully communicate and share stories with those who are applying to the nursing program at UT Tyler for the spring semester of 2019. Feel free to share your stats and ask any questions. Hopefully we grow a small community of hopeful applicants!
