U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hey all! Applications are all in for Fall 2013 at UT Tyler! I was just curious who else applied and what their points were and such. I applied to the main campus and the Longview branch because Im actually taking Patho there this semester. I had an 86 overall on the TEAS and I think I calculated I had just shy of 79 points. Hope thats enough! Good luck to everyone else who applied!

Hi! I will be here in the Fall! I'm so happy, it's been a long road but I made it this far!

I'm taking patho and nursing concepts in the summer.

hi i will be there as well looking for someone to study with

Has anyone done their fingerprinting??? I am so confused by now. I tried to make an appt. They said I was not in the system for fingerprinting. I called the BON, they said I was not in the system. I emailed UTT and she said give it a few more days. It has been 2 WEEKS and I just tried again to schedule for fingerprinting...says I am not in the system. I am confused! Did anyone have this problem? I thought they sent your info to the BON then you were in the system for fingerprinting and you just go do it.

Nvm...I think I figured it out. I was going to the nursing license selection on the identix website. I see on the Fast pass it says to select other...AFTER you go take your fingerprints. Then electronically submit them. I swear I read that several times and just wasn't see it right :)

Did you have utt as your first choice? I am applying fall 2014 and have 79.2 points but I want to go to the tyler campus. Do I have a shot?

79 isn't the best, but you have a decent shot at it. There are usually a few (~5) people who make it in per semester and decide not to join. Between that and 90 spots in level 1, you have a pretty good shot though. I'll be lvl 4 if you do make it in Fall, so maybe I'll see you then!

Thank you! I suppose a decent shot is better than none! If I do better than minimum needed scores on TEAS I may have a few more points to tack on so I can feel a little better! Hopefully ill see ya In the Fall and have a great sem!

Does anyone know if ut tyler lets the science or English section influence their decisions at all? I've been focused on studying for math and reading since that is what they count for scoring but am kinda freaking out now since I haven't studied for the other sections.

Well I am talking to myself, but hoping this will pick up since the deadline is coming up. I just took my TEAS and had such bad test anxiety. Ended up not being able to finish math by a lot. So I got a 56%. I'm so upset. I got 83 % on reading. So my points now are 79.59. Any insight if I will be considered since my math was not the minimum score?
