UT-Tyler Accelerated BSN SPRING 2017

Hey ladies and guys! Anyone prepping for the Accelerated BSN for 2017?! I just need to complete my TEAS V. Good luck all!

Where did y'all hear that we would receive a decision this week? Did UT Tyler say something about that, or is it just because of past threads on AllNurses?

i emailed tammie cooper and she said 6-8 weeks from deadline date of sept 1 which would be this thursday and beyond for 2 more weeks

im looking at past threads but either way it will be soon. Any later and it will be hard to get the stuff done that we need to do

I spoke to Tammie on Friday and she told me they haven't started processing the accelerated applications yet. They've been working on the traditional applications.

Hey guys! I'm a Palestine tradition BSN applicant and y'all asked if anyone else besides Tyler campus has heard anything, and nobody has heard anything yet! Our advisor told us mid October. So.. hopefully this week, not sure about accelerated though!

Hello! I have been following this thread for a while but finally decided to join. I submitted my application on July 21st with a total point of 93.70. Do y'all know if it is good?? My Teas score is a little on the lower side tho and that has me on edge. I haven't heard anything yet from UT Tyler also.

sounds good to me ! I can't remember how the scores are weighted or anything to know how much the TEAS V is worth. I think we will find out at the end of October or beginning of November hopefully.

in the mean time I've already advised that ppl get their vaccinations done bc some of them take a couple of months. Even if you've had the vaccine your antibody count can be too low and you might have to complete the series so it's better to find out sooner than later
