UT-Tyler Accelerated BSN SPRING 2017

Published

Hey ladies and guys! Anyone prepping for the Accelerated BSN for 2017?! I just need to complete my TEAS V. Good luck all!

Hey all!

joining the convo a little late and looks like it's not that active right now but I'm super nervous and I have been stalking post on here all night and I thought why not just join in !

I applied to the ABSN and I didn't get an email saying my application went through but I screen shot the scoring summary with your reference number

Does anyone mind sharing their stats? I applied for the traditional track in longview. The waiting is so nerve racking!! I just wanna make sure i have a fighting chance. My GPA is 3.4 and my points totaled to 86...does anyone know if this is competitive? Thanks!!!

I am not sure about traditional. We are all accelerate applicants. I heard that the traditional was competitive because a lot of those students don't have bachelors degrees.

Hi! I applied to the ABSN program at Tyler and my final number was 89.43. I don't have a backup plan, so I'm really hoping I get in!! Good luck to everyone who applied!

I think Tammie, the advisor in Tyler, had said anything in the 82 to 88 was considered competitive for the traditional BSN. Good Luck!

I do not have a backup plan either, so I also really hope I get in! Good Luck!

Hey guys, anyone know how many people applied to accelerated for spring? I was just comparing our forum to last springs forum and it seems like there were more of them active in the forum as compared to us? Good thing? Maybe....I called the Longview campus, my second choice, and they said they surprisingly hadnt received alot of applicants....not sure about my first choice, tyler.

My first option was Tyler and second was palenstine. I wonder if palenstine had many applicants ?

Hey everyone! I spoke with Tammie about how many people they're accepting this year, she told me 30 applicants would be admitted. I didn't want to ask how many people applied because her saying 30 was nerve wrecking enough! But good luck to all of you! I looked at he forum for Spring 2016, if you applied for the Longview or Palestine campus, they got their acceptance letters in mid-late October. The Tyler applicants didn't get theirs until Early-Mid November!

Thank you for the information! I was really hoping to find out in October :( Only 30 applicants for Tyler seems scary. I hope everyone gets into the program they want. Good luck guys!

I read a forum and everyone was finding out around October 15th. I don't think I am handle the stress of waiting until November lol

oh wait, I read a forum and they found out the first week of November!

how are people suppose to plan to move or complete all immunizations if not notified earlier ? should we be trying to get immunizations now ?

Just got into ASU nursing school! I hope we here back from UT Tyler soon.
