Hey sorry how do I do that? I’m new to this. I only created an account to comment on this thread. I’m happy to help but I clicked on your profile and pressed the message icon and it said I’m “allowed to send 0 messages per day”

It’s fine. I’ve applied there and I’m waiting to hear back. My application states “complete and received “. What site did you apply for. I have A 3.9 last 60 hrs with my MSN. Will have 1 year at level 1 trauma center in CVICU. Ccrn and preceptor experience. Do you think I have A chance? How long did it take after you submitted did you hear back?

I applied for Baylor all Saints and Baptist in Arkansas (I’m from Little Rock). Was offered both. Probably dumb of me to turn down a Fort Worth clinical site but after a lot of praying I decided it would be best to come back.
i think you for sure have a chance! When did you interview? I actually had a FaceTime interview back in early August and was offered acceptance on the spot, got kinda lucky.

I sent Mine in after the priority date. It was completed on 9/16. I applied For mobile because that’s closer to my home and two other Texas sites. I’m just waiting to see if I get an interview soon.

Oh okay! Well let me know for sure. I’ll probably be leaving this forum since I didn’t get accepted here but you can email me at [email protected] if you have more TX-Wes questions (I’ll need a friend too for all the questions I’ll probably have in the future if you’re accepted)
I am sorry to hear about all the applicants who received a decline letter. I really wanted to stay in the Memphis area myself but I think I got the better end of the deal. Accepted my spot at Baylor and I don't mind moving back to Texas. I heard that school is really who you know. They try to recruit locals. I had a friend meet with the director of the program during some informational session and she said the director was such a jerk that she withdrew her application because she got negative vibes. No worries, she got in somewhere else. I was hoping someone from this chat would definitely have gotten in. Best of luck!!

CVICU How was your interview at Tx Wes? Was it mostly clinical or laid back?

My was very personal and laid back but I think that’s just because I was lucky enough to have a FaceTime interview. I have heard the in person interviews can be very clinical and knowledge based, but just remain confident show that you can perform well understand pressure and stressful situations
