UT houston pacesetter BSN program summer 2015

Is anyone else applying to the summer program of 2015? I don't have any medical experience but I wanted to know if I should get my cna certification to be more competitive? Are there any previous applicants or students on here that can give me some advice??? Please help!!! I'm nervous!! :down: Thanks!!!!:)))

At first when I was keeping up with the spring 2015 blog I was discouraged because a lot of people's scores were better then mine. Ultimately there is no consistent way of knowing who gets in or not so just be hopeful at all times! Don't stress to much about stats just know if it is Gods plan for you to be at UT there will be a way! Good luck!

Hi! I submitted an application for the BSN Pacesetter program for summer of 2015 as well. Do you guys know when we're supposed to hear back from the school about our admission status? Thanks!

My UTH profile was updated to the yellow triangle "Incomplete/WaitList" recently ... not sure what this means? The only item on my to-do list is the final transcript (with degree listed) for my university (I called a month ago and they said not to worry about it). Has anyone else heard anything?

I've applied for summer 2015 pacesetter, I had previously applied for a program but for ut MD Anderson which required recommendation/reference letters. Which now uth nursing has accepted and taken into consideration as well. Currently it shows that my application has been completed and I went to an orientation and was told notifications will be sent out in april

Have you received any word on your application? A friend of mine said she was accepted 3 weeks ago but I haven't heard anything or received anything from them. Really worried at this point!

I do not think anyone that I know of has heard anything yet. There is another summer blog like this one and we haven't heard maybe they had some type of early acceptance?

I just double checked with her and she said she definitely got accepted. She has a 4.0 GPA in science and overall and has a REALLY high HESI score... I myself am still hoping to hear something from them too!

Anyone who applied for the FALL 2015 session will NOT hear back until march/april. I applied last session SPRING 2015 to the UT HOUSTON nursing BSN program and was accepted on the alternates list and re-applied for the FALL 2015. until then we wait... last time they just sent me an E-mail through the e-mail I have provided on the application with my "acceptance" as well as when the alternates list had ended.

Applicants will be evaluated on overall academic performance, performance in prerequisites and sciences courses, and HESI A2 Entrance Exam. Notifications are expected to be delivered on or around the following dates:

Summer and Fall Admission: April 15

Spring Admission: November 15
