I have been following this website for quite sometime in preparation for my application to CRNA school. I have learned some valuable tips and advices from a lot of the posts. I hope to be able to utilize them if given a chance to interview to one of the schools I applied to.
Anyone here applied for Fall 2016 CRNA program in UT Houston? I would love to hear from you guys! Im starting this thread as a support group/forum as we journey on and go through the anxieties/excitement of application and interview process.
GPA 3.6 GRE 307/4.5 7 years ICU (3yrs level 1 trauma 4yrs in surgical cvicu) ccrn Acls Pals tncc.
They interviews just MSN students. If the cohort dosent have enough students they will offer a DNP spot.
I don't think they just interviewed the MSN. I applied for the DNP and received and interview. I wonder if the MSN program has a separate amount of spaces .
i heard the same. but i actually thought that they are phasing out the MSN, as the senior students quoted. thay they were the last batch to have msn offers. i could be wrong.
Who really knows. The students at the interview stated it was all MSN students, so I don't think anyone really knows. I would assume that it was everyone since there were both types of students at the interview. We will find out soon.
I find it a bit awkward that during my interview they asked what program I was applying for. MSN or DNP. So who knows hopefully we can find out a bit more this up coming week. The suspense is killing me, I can barely function with my everyday life.
