I have been following this website for quite sometime in preparation for my application to CRNA school. I have learned some valuable tips and advices from a lot of the posts. I hope to be able to utilize them if given a chance to interview to one of the schools I applied to.
Anyone here applied for Fall 2016 CRNA program in UT Houston? I would love to hear from you guys! Im starting this thread as a support group/forum as we journey on and go through the anxieties/excitement of application and interview process.
I spoke with someone from UTHSCH today and found out that those selected for an interview will be notified "at the end of the month". Also, found out that the dates of 12-13 November are ironclad and not negotiable.

Thanks for the update! That seems to be a little late notifying those that will be qualified for an interview. I'm lucky enough to live in Houston but I can't imagine how it would be for people living outside the state. Do you have any idea how many people they will be accepting this year? I also wonder if the DNP and MSN program are to be 2 separate classes?
As I understand things: 1) DNP and MSN programs are completely separate. (I only applied to DNP.) and 2) recall reading somewhere that the DNP cohort is 20.
Thanks everyone for all the information. I also applied, my first CRNA application and received the same email. I was also wondering when we would find out about if we qualify for interviews. Will keep people updated.
I recommend you review the TCU message stream. It will be very helpful if you decide to go that route. Personally I love TCU and will apply for next year if I am not accepted into UTHSC.
I will share with you all that I applied to another program with the same application deadline and have known my interview date with that program for about 3 weeks now. Not knowing this close to the interview dates is intolerable. Ugh
