I am back again! I got denied for Fall 2019, so I am reapplying in hopes I get in this time around. I would prefer to get my BSN out of the way, but I am also applying to community colleges.
This go 'round, I am applying to TWU, Wharton Sugarland, and possibly HCC. I am looking for more schools I can qualify for. I have finished all my prerequisites, so for now, I am just relaxing (sort of )!
I swear I keep checking my email to see if I have received anything. Have y'all applied to any other schools? I only applied to UT Health and SHSU.
I understand. I have not been checking as faithfully as I was before. I got accepted to Wharton in Sugarland so that took a load off. It is an ADN program but may work better for me because I have kids. I also applied to Alvin, HCC (got a denial), TWU, and UT. The wait period is something I hate so much. When I got denied last time for UT and Wharton, I was devastated. When you really want to start nursing and get ahead in life it is so frustrating to wait.
I have been checking religiously & almost freaked out because for like a week the website wasn't working for me. I've only applied to this school and UTMB in Galveston.
I did talk to a couple of girls that just started and they said they're pretty good about letting you know a couple days before or right on November 1st!! one girl had said she didn't find out until that exact day so I'm assuming we still have a couple weeks until we find out!
I am also applying for spring 2020. This is my first time applying and I received my transcript evaluation on 09/09
My Nursing GPA is: 3.75
Overall GPA: 3.43
Science GPA: 3.4
Hesi: 89.72
I have a Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of Georgia. I think my nursing GPA is ok but I'm nervous because my overall GPA and my science GPA aren't as high as the rest of you guys. I also accidentally ended up taking ALL of the sections on the HESI because I didn't know we could skip Chemistry/Biology/critical reading but if you do not include those subjects then my HESI score comes out to be a 92. I got a 96 on the A&P section.
