UT Health Houston Cizik School of Nursing - Spring 2024 Pacesetter BSN

Published

Hey everyone, I'm interested in applying for the Spring 2024 pacesetter program. Does anyone know if overall GPA is calculated only using the prerequisites that they require or do they just use the GPA from your transcript?

Honestly I would wait a day. I haven't had very good interactions with them lately. They have been rude and unprofessional. That's why this school is being pushed to my second choice ?

Really?! That sucks, I'll probably wait then, I wonder if maybe they're just receiving a lot of applications RN and thats why they've been backed up with updates

I also applied for Spring 2024! Good luck everyone!

If anyone get's a notification of acceptance or denial please let us know here... we are all waiting to hear back, and it's helpful to know when people start receiving notifications.... For Spring I know we should be notified by November 15th... but in the past, they have sent out acceptance letters in several waves....

Just out of curiosity what is everyone's GPA / HESI scores?

I have a 3.6 overall and 4.0 science GPA and I got a 93% on my HESI...

Good luck everyone!

My overall GPA was a 3.9 and science GPA was 4.0. I got a 91% on my HESI with 100 on A&P. I did see in an email sent from the school that they put special emphasis on scores in anatomy and physiology so hopefully my score on that helps. I hope acceptance emails are sent soon (:

Hey there, I have about a 3.6 overall and a 3.9 science GPA and a 93 on my HESI A2 exam, I also have military clinical and medic experience as a flight medic so hopefully that will boost my chances of getting in! Of course I've got other options but this is my #1 school. I've toured the campus and met lots of students and visited their skills/clinical lab. Excited to hear from the school and hopefully become a part of the program!

Does anybody know when we should receive anything  or hear something from them?

Between October and November. It looks like people from the last Spring cycle started to get acceptance emails mid October.

Guysss I heard back already, they sent me an email RN saying I was admitted! Check your emails!
