UT Health FNP Fall 2019

Hi! I applied for this program and semester but haven’t heard anything back though.

Hello! :) When did you apply? I applied past the official due date and only on "Accepted on a space-available basis". I emailed them and they said they are looking over applications now and will start interviewing soon.

Hi again ? I put my application in very recently (3/29/2019). Honestly, I didn’t even know there was an official due date for this semester other than the fact that they are accepting applications thru to July 2019 ? When was the actual due date for applications? I spoke to someone a few days ago and she said that they are already in the process of reviewing applications and expect that the last decisions for interviews should go out before the end of July.

When did you put your application in and did you apply to any other schools?

I think it was either January 1 or 31... Ahhh! So they will interview in July or start interviewing before then? Do you know if they interview all applicants? I applied late in February I think... I also applied to HBU. But those are the only two for Fall because I think every other school's apps are already closed. What about you?

I’m assuming so. About interviewing all applicants, I’m not sure about that. She didn’t say, although I highly doubt that they would, depending on how many applicants they get for a specific term.

I applied to UT Arlington’s program. They also accept applications on a rolling basis. I did my RN to BSN there and had a good experience but they’re program is more expensive than UT Houston’s and I actually prefer a college close to home in the case that I want to reach out personally to a professor.

Yeah they are one of the most expensive in the state that I have seen! If I don't get accepted this fall semester then I'm going to apply to more once other schools' apps open. Hopefully I get in! I wonder how many people applied and will be accepted.

Yeah, they definitely are expensive. It was almost a deterring factor for me but I really liked being able to not have to go to campus at all. Hopefully we both get in!! ?? I was wondering the same thing too. By the way, where are you from? I’m in Houston near Cypress.

Hi all - I just found this thread. I received my admission to the program earlier this week and I interviewed last week! They scheduled my interview with about a week's notice after they sent me an email. I applied at the end of 2018.

So glad to hear they are started to accept! Hope to hear soon! Congratulations!!! I hope to be classmates. Do you mind if I ask how much RN experience you have and where you got your BSN? ?
