I have decided to go for the nurse practitioner program or nurse educator at UT. Can I work as a nurse educator if I train to be a NP? I am currently an infusion RN and intend to keep my job full time, cause I love it! Maintain good family relationship, keep a healthy christain lifestyle and work out 5 to 6 days a week. If you have gone through this program would you give your expert advice on if I can with all my activities fit into the post graduate world.:heartbeat

Are you referring to an academic educator or 'workplace' educator?
Mainly academic, but either one can be gratifying I think.

I believe there was a NP who taught at the school I went to, but I'm not sure if she took educational classes as well. If you ask UT these questions, please post the answers. I'd love to know them as well.
