I will start the thread that will consume most of our lives in the upcoming months. I am applying to these schools in Texas and a couple in Louisiana for classes starting in 2019. I have worked in the ICU for 7 years. I have shadows several CRNAs and I am ready to get this show on the road. It will be a long journey but the end result will be well worth the struggles. I wish everyone the best with their upcoming journey with applications and interviews.

Long-story-short:
I got accepted to TCU and did not get ANY of my Clinical preferences- I've already given them my deposit and applied for FAFSA. Yesterday, I just got an email today about an interview for TWU.
1) Would you go to the interview?
2) what if you get accepted in TWU and got your top Clinical site preference... would you drop TCU? And why? Pro/cons/whatever

I don't think TWU will send admittance letters until after classes start for TCU....
If you don't want to move to your clinical site then give TWU a shot. Maybe they will give acceptance letters before we start at TCU. I really needed my clinical site to be in the DFW area so I didn't have to take out loans for rent, thankfully I got it. If I didn't I would've pursued TWU because it would save tens of thousands in cost of living.
A big reason I didn't favor TWU is because they don't have their program set up where you can work for the first few months (decreasing loans). Its also a new doctorate program so I didn't really want to be the "guinea pig" class where they figure out what works for the doctorate program. I also believe their tuition is a bit more than TCU.
