Hey, I'm applying for the UTA FNP online program starting May 22, 2017. Anyone else applying for this term? I was hoping if we get in we can plan a study/vent group! Hope to hear from someone :)

Congrats UTA FNP Students!!!! Best of luck to everyone! Please keep us posted on your progress and experiences. I know things gets pretty busy, but your feedback and thoughts on the program would be greatly appreciated. I'll be applying to UTA Online FNP soon, however, I'm on my initial research stage.

Can anyone provide general information on how the program works or refer me to a previous post, please?

As far as the program, Do you have live or pre-recorded lectures?

How long are the classes (5, 8, 10-weeks, etc)?

How long is the program (I read online 2.7-3-years, is this correct)?

Do you have a lot of writing to do?

Do you have group-work to do (as far as writing papers)?

Do you have quizzes and tests?

Do you have mandatory login requirements?

Does UTA help you find clinical sites/preceptors?

Is UTA pretty strict with preceptor requirements?

Hello everyone, i am new to the forum. I just received the acceptance email for the UT Arlington FNP online program for September 25 start date and have been so an nervous in trying to decide if i should accept the admission or not, this is because i don't know what to expect. Please any one on the forum who is already in the program or starting this fall who can give me heads up on what i should expect would be greatly appreciated.

Applied for sept start date but not received response yet. Emailed them and they said they needed a Resume which I sent and was told I should hear from them early next week. Just making my prayers hoping for the best. I have applied to Tx tech too after waiting for UTA since june 12th when I applied. I prefer UTA though coz that's where I did my BSN and I live 10minutes from the campus.

Hello, I just started the program. I am taking theory right now. Requires essays and discussion questions. They are well organized, and the program is set up to support your success. Good luck!

I am starting sept 25th aa well. I'm told my a current student that its discussion boards and essays mostly.she says its quite manageable. I hope you accepted the offer.
