Congrats UTA FNP Students!!!! Best of luck to everyone! Please keep us posted on your progress and experiences. I know things gets pretty busy, but your feedback and thoughts on the program would be greatly appreciated. I'll be applying to UTA Online FNP soon, however, I'm on my initial research stage. Can anyone provide general information on how the program works or refer me to a previous post, please? As far as the program, Do you have live or pre-recorded lectures? How long are the classes (5, 8, 10-weeks, etc)? How long is the program (I read online 2.7-3-years, is this correct)? Do you have a lot of writing to do? Do you have group-work to do (as far as writing papers)? Do you have quizzes and tests? Do you have mandatory login requirements? Does UTA help you find clinical sites/preceptors? Is UTA pretty strict with preceptor requirements?

Hi AheleneLPN! Need your input, please. I'm going for an interview tomorrow at 2 pm at Delray. However, I just saw the comments about this hospital. I'm nervous now, but I'm going to try the interview which is supposed to be a 12-member panel interview and 3 other new grads. Have you heard from other grads what type of questions they ask during this intereview? Also, do you know if the specialty units (ICU, ER) have the same problems as Tele units where due to one reason of another people are really unhappy? I'm afraid Tele is probably where I will end up if they offer a job. Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

Hi tinkchic2121! I have an interview tomorrow at 2 pm at Delray with a 12-member panel and 3 other new grads. My understanding is that EVERYONE inteviews at the same time. I was wondering if you had to go thru the same and how it went. Also, any advice on type of questions they normally ask? Last but not least, how did the residency program go? Was it what they described it to be? Was it helpful? I believe I read one of your others posts on how you're doing & I'm nervous now. I hope things have gotten better. Any advice you feel comfortable sharing would be most appreciated. Thanks!
