UT Arlington AP BSN online Spring 2017

Hi there I know it is early but I'd like to start a thread for applicants to the Spring 2017 online BSN.

My stats are as follows:

Reading Comprehension - 92

Grammar - 92

Vocabulary & General Knowledge - 94

Math - 98

Cumulative GPA - 3.5

Science GPA - 4.0

Summer 2016 I am taking Patho

Fall 2016 I will take Microbiology and Pharm

I submitted my apllication 5/4/2016

Anyone else in Houston?

Accepted today for the Online Program:

Here are my stats: 3.5 Science GPA 3.4 overall GPA.

HESI: 90% Reading/comp, 90% Grammar, 98% Vocabulary, 88% Math, total score was a 366/400 or 91.50%

I have 3 considerations ( 2 prior degrees, BS in Healthcare Admin and an M.B.A., 30 lower pre req hours at UTA and 12 of the 16 science)

I'm also prior military with a healthcare rating.

Hi guys,

I was waitlisted with a 3.57 Science and a 3.57 overall

HESI: Passed

No considerations

Partnered:Yes

There is some MAJOR confusion about that little box that says "yes, I failed patho/pharm etc..." I called the office and they said it's poorly worded and that by checking that box you are acknowledging that IF you failed this is the consequence.. just check that box so you can move forward with you acceptance letter submission.. seems scary but they are working on fixing the wording of that.

I got into the online program.. YAY!! I haven't heard anything from the on campus program. Do y'all know if you here back if you have been accepted or denied?

I'm in Houston, just applied for prerequisites portion. I have a BBA from Sam in 2002, so this is a whole new direction.

I have a 3.7 overall from my previous BBA, but other wise just starting.

I see several references to being partnered... what is this?

Note: Preference will be given to an applicant employed by partner hospital systems offering clinical sites during that semester of admission. Partner hospital systemsand clinical sites vary each semester. To receive preference, an applicant must be employed at the time of the ranking and the first day of class. Employment at apartner hospital system is not a guarantee of admission into the upper-division nursing program.

Where can we find a list of partners. Can the position be in a non clinical, or non-patient care role, for example facilities maintenance or security?

This I am not aware of many people that have applied to the nursing program that I know have some type of medical background.
