I started out at #3 at first and then quickly moved up to #1. And then I was #1 for like 10 days until I got the email today that a spot was available and given to me!

Well that's amazing! Congratulations! I was number 11 when I first checked, so my hopes aren't too high for how slow it seems like the waitlist is moving. Did you just periodically check back with Tracy for updates?
