Hi, everyone. I am planning on applying to the ae-msn program this fall. I've read through all the ae-msn posts from '08 to 2016. I didn't see a thread for this year's application, so I'm starting one. Feel free to post questions and comments! :)

To anyone who is reading this in the future (next year's applicants perhaps?), CNS and PMHNP tracks started to hear back last night (Monday) at around 6-7pm and continued to hear probably until 8:30pm or so. Us LeaDs applicants started to hear back around 10am this morning (Tuesday). I was curious what time people heard back in the past years (was it past 5pm? Should I stop checking my email at 5? 6? 7?) because the Allnurses time stamp is off (at least on my computer it is?). Hope this will be helpful! I was curious at least!

Accepted to Leads!!!!! Such a relief. So excited to see y'all.

Circuscat-- you originally applied to PMHNP, right?? Can you remind me what's up with that in relation to the acceptance to leads-- are they going to send a notification about pmhnp as well? and if they do and I'm waitlisted, does it mean that if I accept my place in Leads that I forfeit my waitlisted spot?

Hey everyone!

Congratulations to everyone accepted!! I was accepted to LEADs today as well. But I have accepted an offer to attend PA school elsewhere. That being said... someone from the waitlist will get my spot! Yayyyyy!!! So happy for you! So proud of everyone.

Wow, congratulations! I was PMHNP, I didn't receive any notification regarding that track. I don't really have any answers, I just know that I'm flexible, happy to be accepted. And a post master's is only an extra year if I still really want psych.

Anyone have an idea of what the course schedule will look like during the first year? I believe a couple of you have mentioned having friends in the program already & im trying to understand what life might entail for a year. During my interview, they asked if I understood I'd be committing 60 (yes, SIXTY) hours between clinical and classes, which did not include study time. I'm a little freaked out by that....

to those accepted in the program: was there an option of deferring your admission to 2018? I know that was an option in the previous years, but I'm just wondering about this cycle. Thanks!

Hey guys! I've been following this forum since I applied last semester and have had just as much anxiety as all of you! I've been rechecking this and checking my email multiple times a day since my interview in December. I finally decided to make an account so I could officially join the group haha. I was placed on the wait list for LeaDs last night. I guess that's better than a rejection! Tracy informed me that I am almost at the top of the wait list as of right now, but I was wondering how many of us there are?? Congrats to everyone who already got accepted!

I was just reading my acceptance letter and I believe it said that in order to defer to a later semester, you have to reapply to the program. "Deferral of your admission to another semester is not automatic. If you wish to enroll for alater semester, you must reapply for admission by submitting a new application and any additional transcripts or testscores by the deadline for the semester in which you wish to enroll."
