UT AE-MSN 2016

Hi all -

Just wondering who else is applying for the AE-MSN program at the University of Texas at Austin. I am applying to the psych NP track and super nervous about it! I know previous applicants did not hear back about interviews until early December and decisions until early February.

Just found out I've been accepted to LEaDs yesterday too!!! Can't wait to meet all of you in June!!!!

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I received my acceptance email on Thursday as well and have accepted my spot to start in June of this year!!

I got in for leads as well. Everyone who is accepted into the leads program..... are you all planning to continue on doing the NP post-masters certificate? What are your plans after finishing the leads program?

I'm not sure what my plan is for after the LeaDs program..it will first depend on whether I begin working as an RN after the first year while completing the second and third year part-time. I'm glad we have the option of a post-masters certificate program, but I'm not set on being an NP so I'll be playing it by ear.

I intend to pursue the post masters.... unless I start working and just love the heck out of something else. I'm still pretty open minded about that possibility.

For those waiting, I imagine there will be another wave after Feb 12th as that's the deadline for a response. Some are sure to decline and it would free up some spots (:

Hi all!

I wish I would have came across this post sooner! It is great to converse with others who have the same interests and have applied to the same program. It is also comforting to know that I am not going through this process alone. I, too, am currently taking prerequisite courses this semester.

I received my acceptance to the LeaDS program about a week ago and I have accepted admission. I am so excited to meet all of you!

Also, where do we find information about the post-masters certificate programs?
