Yes, Amado, I used study guides and they helped me make A s on 6 of my 7 Excesior exams! I would highly recommend Chancellors AND Professional Development Systems study guides. I used both concurrently and I believe that's why I did so well.

Hello fellow nurses and good afternoon. My name is Amado I am currently an LVN in Calif enrolled with the Excelsior College asn program. I am needing information form any of you who used study guides, did anyone use the college network? or chancellorsand had success on the A&P, micro, life span and nc 1-7? Please let me know I am trying to prepare and want to use the beast gudies out there for nursing students working towards their rn degree. Thank you. Amado
Amado, I used Chancellors guides for all prereqs and nursing courses...I strongly encourage you to used them...plus attend their CarepLan lab which helps prepare you for the Excelsior Clinical (CPNE). The Chancellor guides, comes with all you need to pass your tests, plus audio tapes to listen to as well. I used them for all my courses.
The College Network is also good guides, but I am not sure if they have a prep lab like Chancellor's does....
Hope that helps

Hi,
I just got the Chancellor study guides NC1 and NC 6 from ebay and found that there were no audio tapes inside both package. Do you or anyone know that there should be tapes came with them or that was it?
Thank you.
