Using online tools for clinical questions, drug checks and patient information

I have been surveying the amount of hospitals in Germany (as i have just moved here!:)) who have access to UpToDate, but who have only really informed the physicians about the access and not so much the nurses.

In most of the cases - the hospitals have already provided access to everyone in the hospital but unfortunately the nurses are often not aware. I am sure this applies to other countries too.

It would be worth checking with your library resources if this is something you can use as it is a very useful tool to answer clinical questions, check drug information, and provide your patients with excellent patient ed. If you find you do have access, and would like an overview you can always request a quick online training at the uptodate training hub on facebook.

Hi Classicdame, I do now yes, but not in the capacity of sales. I have been doing some research and I saw on here some comments about the application already, and wanted to understand more if there were some cases where nurses might not have realised they had it available.
