Usf summer 2016

Published

I havent seen a thread started yet for University of South Florida's summer '16 entry to the program and I thought I would start one, since the application deadline is only about 2 months away. I'm really nervous about getting in especially since they just replaced the essay with an interview. I'm looking forward to talking to other applicants while these next 2.5 months drag by.

Information session I just went to said they did not know how many people they would be interviewing and said that they get about 500 applications for 36-48 seats in Second degree and 60-72 seats in the Upper division.

Definitely not a good number. I totally forgot to attend that session. March is almost here though this month has gone so quickly!

Yes not very good numbers and while she couldn't break down that 500 she said about 1 in 4 get in Upper Division and about 1 in 5 for second :( so a 20% chance has me pretty doubtful.... Oh well there are always other options. Less than 2 weeks until deadline really hoping to hear soon about interview so if I don't get one I can start plan B :)

Hi guys, I'm starting to get really nervous as well. The time has almost come. I attend school in Miami, so the information that I am recieving from you guys are so helpful. I'm really curious on how this interview process is going to go.

Is it March 4th YET!!!!???????? :bored:

Lol I know right! I'm just patiently waiting for the deadline to come so we can hear something back.

what is the lowest gpa you guys think will still be eligible for an interview?

Two more days until the deadline! I'm not sure about the lowest GPA. But I know my GPA definitely isn't the highest. I hope I still can get an interview. I'm so nervous.

What's your gpa

What's your gpa

3.77 What is yours?

3.77 also! Ugh hope we both get interviews!

Well finally March 4th! Application period closes in what like 9 hours and then the waiting really begins! I will be stalking this thread I admit it - lol.... Good luck to us :)

Good Luck everyone!!
