Hi everyone, I recently applied to the University of South Florida's Fall 2020 FNP program. I didn't see a thread started and would like to hear from anyone else who has applied and share updates on the interview and acceptance process. Best of luck to all of us!
USF BSN GPA 3.9
Overall GPA 3.4
Submitted February 12, March 25 under review, invitation to interview April 20, had Blackboard video interview April 30 (asked me 5 questions lasted like 7 minutes) and admission offer May 6. Full time MSN FNP Fall 2020.
Chiro2Nursing I am doing the full time program, would you recommend working at all, full-time, part-time?

Hello Amo 22,
I cannot make any recommendations relative to weather you should work or not. I will say it is dependent on your ability to be flexible in your time management and maintain a strong academic performance. There are plenty of us that did & it can certainly be done.
With that being said, I worked throughout my time in the program but I am in a unique situation because I am self-employed. Many of my classmates worked during the program, some part-time, some full-time. I guess it just comes down to your individual work situation.
It is a challenge to work when you have to concurrently do clinical hours in the later semesters but it is doable!
Hope this helps!
