USF DNP CRNA 2022

I didn't see a thread for the University of South Florida's 2022 start date so here we are!

 

I do have a question: I know the priority deadline has not passed but has anyone that applied already received a request to interview? Just wondering if they do some type of rolling review of applications. March to February is a long time to allow applications to be submitted. Best wishes to this cycle's applicants!

Anyone know if they’re going to keep admitting after the priority deadline?? Or do we all have to wait until the regular deadline for everyone to receive a decision?

Submitted my application about three days prior to priority deadline August 15th. I did not receive verification status through NursingCAS til about two weeks after. I only received an email stating my application was 'In Progress' but it seemed generic over all. That was about a week ago. Anyone else experiencing this? I am afraid I submitted too late for the priority consideration, seeing as some applicants here have been interviewed and accepted already.

Hi! My application wasn't verified until August 18th and I also received the same email. I'm trying to relax and not stress over it.

Thanks for your response! This makes me feel somewhat relieved ?. 
I have attempted to call the college of nursing several times to get an update but it rings until voicemail. I am sure they are extremely busy. Do you mind sharing your stats? 
I have two years ICU experience (Medical + Neuro), CCRN, member of two professional committees, resource experience, preceptor experience, Nurse mentor/Debriefer, and was a member of a couple of unit based committees from my previous hospital. I have also been doing travel nursing for the last year, in order to save money for this. The GPA calculator based off my nursing courses is a 3.4. My science GPA is also about a 3.3/3.4. I am retaking one of my science courses this semester at a local college to hopefully obtain a 3.5 science GPA. And I got the bare minimum on the GRE; I am thinking of retaking it. Not sure what more I could do!

I am far from the Tampa area! Are you? Just starting to look into housing and have no idea where to look!

I got notified my application was under review about a month after I submitted. Got an interview invite roughly a week after that.

@ILoveDrugs So I went to undergrad there and have relatives in the area. I gave up my apartment to start travel nursing. But Im in the process of looking for housing too! We should probably start a FB group soon!
