Hello! I am also applying this year. Does anyone know if the interviews are in person or via zoom?

Hi guys! Hoping someone could help explain the GPA calculator. I’m not sure if I’m suppose to be adding all course work for my ADN/BSN or JUST the prerequisites required for the program. Good luck everyone!

Hi,

Are you using the actual form from the site? Mine has all courses from both degrees.

Yes, the one linked on the nursingcas application. I just wasn’t sure if it was all courses or specific ones.

Applying as well! Is anyone local ? I am applying from Arizona and wondering how the clinical sites are or if anyone has worked at any. Good luck to us all! 

Has anyone had an interview yet?

No. I just attended their information session though. I am hoping to finish my application so I can submit by August 15th.

In case no one else has helped you yet, the GPA calculator form should only include nursing courses (I.e. the course title/number should include something like NURS ####)

Really wish I could upload my actual resume. Using their template makes mine look like it's lacking. Anybody else feel this way?

Had an interview back in July but the director informed me they’re not allowed to make their selections until after priority deadline (August 15th). Fingers crossed. Anxiously awaiting! Good luck everyone

How was your interview if you don't mind me asking? Was it online or in person? I'm a horrible interviewer and im not sure how much I clinically need to study.

Interview was online format. You first interview with USF CRNA staff, and then with current SRNA’s in the program. I’m sorry that I can’t divulge much information about the actual interview, as program integrity is very important to the college. If you’ve had good experience in your ICU and passed your CCRN, you should be okay. Review critical care topics in preparation. Also, if interviewing is your weak point, practice, practice, practice. Can’t stress this enough. Practice with your friends, family, random people. Whatever you have to do. Hope this helps! Good luck to you.
