USF ABSN Summer 2021 - Tampa Campus

Hello all!

I have not seen a forum for this topic yet so I decided to make one!

I believe that the file upload deadline to apply to USF is coming up (January 11th). Has anyone been accepted to USF yet?

Excited / nervous for the SOAR application to open in February!

I have not received it yet. I did just send a message through SOAR.

Is anyone else having trouble saving their videos for the practice space? My connection with the internet and the rest of canvas is fine but any video I have over maybe 10 seconds will not save.

Just finished my interview I used Firefox and wanted to know if anyone experienced the issue of having to click save a bunch of times before it moved on to the next question? Resulting in time being taken away from the next question. I was trying to complete all the questions so I posted on soar after I finished.

I was using Firefox and it wouldn't even let me save it no matter how many times I clicked it. So I posted on SOAR and haven't heard anything back yet. We'll see what happens.

Same I am still waiting for a response. 

This happened to me with my practice videos as well, each video would take minutes to save.  I tried different computers, browsers, wifi networks and nothing else helped.  Messaged on soar and was told they can't account for each individual's computer functionalities but to try my best.

The same thing happened during my interview so my focus turned to trying to at least get all the questions done in a timely manner to account for all the time sitting around waiting on each to save...

At this rate I'm not sure what else they can even do from their end, but if anyone gets a different response or any other help please let me know! I'd love to hear (: Also, good luck to everyone interviewing!

Right me too I was just trying to get everything completed because I knew I was going to have to click save a million times after. I wasn’t even able to go back to re do and watch my responses because I got stuck at question #5. I will let y’all know if I get a response. Good luck as well!

I just received a message back that I am able to reschedule either for tonight at 7 pm or tomorrow at 9 am and that I need to use the Firefox browser. So I'm hoping that this doesn't happen tomorrow either. Good luck to everyone as well!

Good luck to our 7pm interviewees! A little nervous, I can't lie. 

Also good luck to everyone and great job showing resilience during the tech issues! 

I was told that all my questions submitted successfully… Even though I was trying to tell them that I had rush to get each question answered because my time was spent waiting for the next question to load after clicking save. I didn’t even watch my responses or was able to go back to any as a result. I just recorded and started clicking save quickly to go on. I don’t want to re-do the interview at all, however I wish that they could’ve noted that on our behalf. Oh well I have to hope for the best. 

Has anyone heard anything yet??
