USF ABSN Summer 2022 (Tampa Campus)

Hello all!


I was wondering if anyone thinking or is in the process of applying to USF's ABSN Summer 2022 program! I am new to the Tampa Bay area and have been wanting to pursue a BSN for quite some time now. I also wanted to get some clarification on pre-requisite courses as I am not familiar with Florida's numbering system, as well as if there are any standardized testing required prior to admission.

hey guys!! how were you all informed about getting an interview? I’m crossing my fingers and toes and just trying to keep an eye out!

I just got an email from USF about completing the interview like mid of January. I was pretty surprised that they send me an email about the going to Canvas to do the interview super early.  January was a busy month for me so I did the interview on beginning of February.  I hope this helps answer your question!

hi!! finished my interview last week...fingers are crossed. I am soo nervous about housing as well it is going to be so last minute I wish it was sooner. from the orlando area.

Does anyone know when we’re supposed to hear about decisions? I know It’s by the end of March but I was just wondering if anyone knew anything more specific. Thanks in advance!

Received notice of acceptance 3 days ago, confirmed my seat right away. 

~3.3 overall GPA, 3.8 prerequisite GPA 

Felt pretty good about the virtual interviews, really excited to start this program. Go bulls!

I’m also on the alternate list. Wonder if we’ll hear anything back? I wish that if we were on the alternate list it was a guarantee into Fall 2022 in St. Pete, just so we don’t have to go through the whole process again!

My takeaway from the email was they'll let us know either way! I will post on here if I get any news. Just trying to remain positive. At this point- no news is good news!
