Hello All!
I have yet to see anything related to the USD MEPN Fall 2020 program, so I thought I'd start a post!
Little late to the party, just discovered this thread. Got an interview as well and, likewise, it made my day! Congrats to the others who got an interview, guess I will see you there!
Has anyone heard anything about how the interview will go? Also, I checked out those quality points that were mentioned previously in this thread, has anyone figured out what they mean?
For the "quality points" I had reached out to NursingCAS in the Fall when I noticed mine were zero'd out on my application. This is the response I received (Also, not sure if this impacts how it was processed but I had done the professional transcript entry):
"When we verify applications there are different "kinds" of verification. This would depend on what you had to do for the "Transcript Entry" section. For you, you were initially only asked to record your prerequisites, and that is it. Due to this, we are not able to calculate our own GPA, we can only do what we call a "lite verification."......Your current GPA's were calculated based off of the pre requisite only requirements which only allows the school type GPA's instead of a subject by subject GPA. Which is why those areas currently have zeros listed. That is totally normal."
So I do know someone who graduated from the program this past spring, but I feel like I have been bugging her so much with other questions, that I did not want to directly ask about the interview process. From things she has alluded to as well as the students at the open houses, it sounds like they are really trying to get a feel for you as a person rather than just about nursing. Like they want to see if you are well rounded, a friendly person, and a good fit for their university. That kind of thing. But that is just what I gathered and I will be brushing up on other possible questions to be prepared for like different scenarios or our goals. I have just been looking online for suggestions on what to focus on.

Ah, found it! Thanks. Yeah, I'm not sure what those quality points mean?
