Anyone out there sending in an application soon? Thought this could be helpful for asking questions etc.

Specializes in SRNA at UofSC, BSN, CCRN.

Hi, everyone! I'm new to the forum, but I have my interview on Thursday, May 30. Definitely feeling the pressure. A couple friends of mine who are first and second year SRNAs in the program said to prepare a patient scenario and know it inside and out: meds, surgery and/or patho, rationales for treatment, etc. 2 weeks left to prepare. Most of my friends said their interviews weren't hateful, but other classmates had more challenging ones. Good luck to everyone!!

Are you guys wanting Greenville or Columbia?

I'd prefer Columbia but I'll take what I can get, lol.

May the force be with you all! ????

How did it go for those that already went!?

Anyone that has interviewed already, what in the world are you supposed to do in that room all day? Did you bring a book? It’s nine hours ....

In my group we all just talked to each other and the two freshman SRNAs in there. You’ll have an hour lunch break too. They encourage you to tour around if you want. The big room we wait in is one of the lecture rooms. You’re in the same building as the library and big lecture halls for neuroscience, physiology, cell biology... etc. you could bring a book, but it was a great opportunity to network, chat, and really ask the SRNAs what life is like in the school.
