  1. I gave up my spot today. Hopefully one of you will get it.
  2. BJ said to keep an eye on our emails for the next couple of days.
  3. 10-4. I received a call Tuesday about acceptance into a different program. Maybe that's the one for me. Congratulations on your acceptance! Wake seemed like a great school.
  4. How did they contact y'all? My portal still says Confirmed Interview.
  5. I know that they said they'd try to get decisions out by Thanksgiving. Has anyone heard anything?
  6. I know that we all wanted this and I'm truly sorry that you didn't get in this round. However, the point of these interviews is to fluster us and for them to see how we react. I've been denied admission to 3 schools after interviews since last year. It's part of the process I suppose. If Duke is where you truly want to go, please reapply next year. Brian, one of the senior students that we met Friday did the same thing. He put all of his eggs in the Duke basket and didn't get in his first year. However, he reapplied and got in the second year. If you didn't go this year, I'd highly recommend going to the Nurse Anesthesia day they have on campus. It gives you a chance to have a really in-depth conversation with the faculty in a much more relaxed environment. You also get to go to a skills lab where you practice epidurals, intubation, etc. It was an invaluable experience. You seem like a really great candidate and I know that you will achieve your goal of becoming a CRNA. Have a great holiday and I hope to see you on campus soon!
  7. I also received a call and requested to join the group.
  8. They said 2 weeks from the receipt of your letter.
  9. I'm always happy to see a fellow paramedic do big things.
  10. The waiting though, lol. Good luck peeps!
