I called today and asked what days they were going to schedule interviews (I haven’t received an invitation or anything, I was just curious.) The lady who answered the phone told me that they would be scheduled the last week of May and the first week of June. She said that if they were going to offer an interview that they would send an email with a date, time and location. That sounds to me like they are going to assign time slots. Anyone know about this?

Hey!

As far as I know, we get two interviews with two different panels, but onthe same day. You’ll have time slots assigned to be with each panel on the day they give you. All the people I know that interviewed said they waited in a room with a bunch of the other applicants for a period of time. They usually have some of the current SRNAs hangout with you and are available to answer questions and be supportive.

Just sent in my application a couple weeks ago. What ICU areas/stats does everyone have? Any out of staters?

Has anyone heard when interview invites will go out?

I’m in OK. I have 2 years CCU, 2 years ER, 4 years paramedic. 155 & 4.0 GRE, 3.5 GPA, CCRN.

I'm from Texas!

2.5 years CV/CICU. CCRN, CSC, CMC. 309 GRE 4.0 writing. 3.5 GPA

Thanks for the info about transcripts, etc.

I'm in state, 2.5 years ICU/CCU. CCRN. 322 GRE, 4.0 GPA

@Kimberlyace your description of interview sounds similar to what I've heard from others.

I’m in-state. 2 years CVICU - Level 1 Trauma Center. ACLS/BLS/PALS - CCRN. 4.0 GPA. Previously earned MBA.

Out of state from MD. 2.5 yrs CVSICU experience. 3.9 nursing gpa. 318 GRE. CCRN.

Just want to fast forward this process so I know what state I’ll be in next year.

Damn, that GRE score.... Are you sure you don’t want to get a PhD in Quantum Physics? ?

I interviewed there last year and did not get in. The above description is correct as to where you wait in a room with other applicants and two current SRNA's to answer any questions. The program director will tell you up front that the interview is not easy. The interview panels want you to go very deep into the scenarios they ask you about. From what I remember you can direct the conversation a little bit by telling them your favorite type of patient to take care of. Just be prepared to know as much as you can about that type of patient. Not trying to scare anyone but the interview was tough for sure. Just want everyone to be prepared. The staff are super friendly throughout the process. Just tell them what you know and do not make up anything as you go. The panel will known instantly if you do and you will be digging yourself a hole.
