USC Keck New Graduate RN Residency Program September 2021

Hi all, I am trying to make sure there is a thread for this Fall application period. May 31- June 8. Who else applied? Was the link easy to find? How do you feel? Was you able to attach everything?

For me, I filled out both ICU & Tele application to be sure. I am skeptical of how this process going to turn out. Furthermore, I did in fact had trouble finding the site. I am hopeful for an interview.

I don’t think they are. I just got sent the questionnaire in the afternoon this last Friday

Hi Everyone,

I applied to Surgical ICU (7 West) and Cardiovascular Thoracic ICU (4 South).  I received the questionnaire about a month ago and my status still says "under consideration", but I have yet to hear back from them for an interview.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hey there,

Not to speculate but I believe it's because those units are not taking new grads or interviewing this cohort. Because you got the questionnaire and are a great candidate I'm sure, I'm wondering if they may extend you an interview for a different unit depending on what happens!

@smohammadi Yea I haven't heard of many ICU applicants receiving a phone call, but I'll just stay hopeful. Thank you so much for your helpful insight.

I received two interviews for 8W (medical ICU) already, the second one last Friday. They told me that I would find out the results in about a week!
