Hey all wanted to start this thread to see who is headed to BOLC and then USAGPAN for 2014. Can't wait to meet all of you at Fort Sam.

Congrats Ajax, I will be your classmate this year. I have seen a lot of your posts and cannot wait to meet you! Do you know if we will have to attend PreBOLC or just report for BOLC?

Congrats to you as well Baxter! From what I understand direct commissions with no prior service have to go to pre-BOLC, which starts mid February. Looking forward to meeting you as well! Can't wait to commission and start USAGPAN!

I am from Virginia, where are you from? Have you heard how many will be in our class?

I have the honor of being selected for USAGPAN for 2014 as well! I was told there were 15 selected. I am a DA, so I will be attending pre-BOLC...looking forward to meeting you all!!! Sooo excited!!!!!

I'm thinking well get orders round mid jan ie 14-16. That would be 30 days before pre BOLC. Btw my recruiter told me there were only 3 DAs accepted this year. That might be us.

I'm not sure about the 3 DAs information, just because there is another DA I met on the "other" message board. Either way from the looks of it- https://www.atrrs.army.mil/atrrscc/courseInfo.aspx?fy=2014&sch=081&crs=6-8-C20B+%28PREP%29&crstitle=AMEDD+OFFICER+PREPARATORY&phase= Pre BOLC will start on February 28th this year.

Baxter:

The latest info that was sent to my recruiter shows Pre BOLC starting around 2/14 and BOLC starting around 2/27, with a reporting date of 2/4 (10 days prior). I hope we get firm dates soon!

Hmmm well I hope your recruiter (which I'm sure he/she is not) is wrong. A February 4th report date would kill my trip to Thailand until February 5th... Oh well
