USA Fall 2011 MSN/FNP program

Is anyone starting USA fall 2011 MSN/FNP program. If so do you you know when the orientation dates will be? Also, any recent grads with any advice or atleast what I can expect. Would like to hear something positive, it seems that I keep finding negative things about their program.:)

I am in the adult/gero program fall 2011 and have had the same feeling with USA. So far I have had prompt responses, and feel the program has been on the ball with answering questions and making me feel comfortable with my decision to attend USA vs UAB.

I am starting in August, same as y'all - I'm in the acute care adult/gero track. Looking forward to seeing y'all on the discussion boards!

As far as the program goes, I work with an NP who is an alum and she directed me to USA. I've heard no negatives, unless you consider a need to be independently motivated for your studies a negative ... personally, that's a plus in my book.

So far it's been a lot of studying on my part. I'm taking adv. patho and my instructor is responsive, accomodating, and supportive. So far so good, next semester is adv. pharm.

I am taking health care policy. It is a lot of work. You need to be very self-directed, but I'm very happy with the program.
