US IEN applying to CNO

Published

Hi everyone,

I am US educated RN which Bachelor's degree applying to CNO.

I received my NNAS assessment as "Somewhat Compatible".

In July I passed Jurisprudence exam and just a few days ago I received an assessment from CNO.

The letter states that I need to go back to school and take classes to fulfill 100 competencies.

My questions are:

-Has anyone appealed CNO registration decision?

-Has anyone taken classes fulfill these competencies and how long did it take you? What school did you go to?

-Did anyone used CARE help with any part of the process?

Thank you, I appreciate all the information I can get at this point.

No, there is not a 100 competencies different. 340/440 would make my percent match to 75.

In fact, the competencies that I have missing are the exact 100 competencies that are listed in the Entry to Practice Competencies PDF on the college website. The whole document has 100 and it is hard for me to believe that I am missing all of them.

Did you ask CNO to clarify if the 100 competencies you are missing are the 100 entry to practice competencies?
