Thanks! Will keep an eye out. Soon soon!

Specializes in Critical Care.

I applied for 2025 cohort

Specializes in CVICU.

Hopefully we get some news today.
Do ya'll know if we get BAH when we're in BOLC and DCC? Also if I'm a San Antonio native would I be allowed to live off base while we go through BOLC?

Specializes in ICU.

You do get BAH in DCC/BOLC and yes you can live off base in BOLC since all the direct accession folks will have Fort Sam as their duty station; out of our direct accession group only myself and another guy live on post, the others live off post and they were all able to continue living off post in BOLC

Specializes in CVICU, CCU, Paramedic.

Just a heads up on pay, USAGPAN does everything they can to get ahead of the game and get you paid as soon as possible but HRC sometimes drops the ball. If you get in, I would have at least a months worth of expenses saved to live on. There are financial assistance options if you run low on money before you're paid but if you go in prepared you should be fine.

Fortunately, once it's all straightened out you get back pay starting whenever you take your Oath of Office. Good luck!

Yeah it's getting too late in the day.  Has anyone heard from Jana John's? (other than the email that said we should have an answer before the end of August).

I have not. Just left it at the email from her.

Last year they released it on a Wednesday so I'm banking on that.
