Was wondering who all was applying to USAGPAN FY2025?

Yea. Unfortunately it's still a waiting game. I think the max number of seats they will offer is around 30?

You guys are also competing with the active duty population so it's going to be a rough day on Baylor selection. But congrats on the first step you met the army qualifications 🤙🏻

Just found out my recruiter is out of town until August 12 💀

Selected as well! Now to wait on Baylor.

I feel more nervous now. I thought if I had a notice of selection by the ARMY, it would give me a pretty good idea whether I might be selected by Baylor. I feel like it's rolling dice now.

I agree. Don't really feel any closer than I did yesterday. But at this point all we can do is just hope for the best and trust in the work we did to get here! Gonna be a long couple of weeks.

Specializes in ICU.

Also received an email and a call yesterday from my recruiter that I was Board selected. 😍 Good luck to all of us!

I feel exactly the same, just want to fast forward to end of august haha. I hope there will be good news for all of us, fingers crossed!!

I wonder if GRE, CCRN, and Chem class really helped? Did anyone get accepted by ARMY without any of those?

I believe this is the first year that the GRE and chem class were optional so it may be hard to gauge how beneficial they will be for each individual case. I went to an info session held by the admin person and I walked away with the idea that everyone is assigned a score based off a certain rubric—some items weighted more than others. So I guess anything that helps boost your individual score is better than nothing in that category, right? Wishing us all the best! 🤞🏼

This is what I understood as well, I was told by many people that the letter of recommendation from the shadow/interview is weighted very heavily.

Do you know if Baylor looks at the LOR from the interview or is that for Boards only?

I was told it makes up a significant weight on the Baylor application.
