US Agency would you use this one?

Now I have passed NCLEX and waiting for visa screen trying to find the right job and get it right.:rolleyes:

Have just had an agency in Florida offer me a contract and I do not think the terms and conditions are very good. What do you think or is this normal.

The do offer 4 weeks in the class room when you arrive and pay for apartment and food during this time.

If you have to terminate contract before 2 years they charge $16,000.

we are not going with intention of coming back but you never know what life is going to deal out.

My health insurance will be paid for but to add on husband and two kids $500 per month plus dental.

I know people who pay this for a family seems a bit steep for a top up.

Could you let me know if this is normal, thanks

I believe these conditions are quite normal they is always a drop out charge. Insurance seems normal for USA. Any other details? Why are you going with an agency cant you sort out with a hospital to sponser you? What hourly rate do they offer

Hi

I really want to work in a Cardiac Cath lab.

I was looking in Cath lab news last night and saw Cape Canaveral Hopital were looking for staff so have emailed them.

I have emailed a couple of others but they do not seem to repy, any suggestions of hospitals that take on staff directly would be great.

I would rather know whre I was going as the agency only seem to tell you a few weeks before you go

$16,000 is obscene, and a contract with that type of cancellation fee should not be signed. Sure, all contracts have a cancellation fee, but that one is outrageous. What exactly is the agency providing for you?

Immigration costs for you are about $4,000. what type of relocation fee are they providing?

That is what we thought and wanted to be certain.

I would have had to pay all fees for Andy and the kids plus their med insurance. They would pay for me and 4 weeks in a flat again just for me whist I went their their school for 4 weeks.

I have paid for everything so far NCLEX Visa Screen etc so that would be their only input.

I still need to find some one else now.
