Upset with OB!

I just don't know about this darn OB! I really don't care for it but need to do it in order to continue the RN program. I am just having the most difficult time! I feel like a complete MORON in this class. While everybody else is passing with good grades. When speaking amongest others they say it is the easiest class, but for me the most difficult. On my first test I got a 69 was nervous and thought I studied enough. But studied the wrong stuff! I swore to myself when I took the next exam I would be ready! SO I read and memorized every single thing and knew it with my eyes close. When I took the test I got a 75%. I was so mad and upset I felt like crying in class and getting up and telling my instructor I quit this whole damn prgm. After class I went to look at my exam and speak to my insturctor I told her how I felt and we reviewed the exam together. We'll I knew all the info but did not read the question right on some and read to much into the others. Then not only that I put the wrong answers on my scantron. My Instructor advised me that I was an excellent clinician and a great nurse. I know what and how to do it. But that aniexty is crippling me in taking my test. She said I will make it! I am just so depressed. I just can't believe that the hardest class in this program I passed but the most easiest I am not doing we'll. My teacher also said it is not easy!! I feel so stupid and everybody tells me that I know the information.

But it is that aniexty I guess. I don't know But after I took that test I was so tired and felt like I had cried for days on End!! I am at my wits with this NSG school thing!! Has anyone ever felt like this!!

I had a class like that, it just wasn't my learning style but everyone else loved it. I just had to study even more, but it was frustrating!

Can you study in groups with some people who do well in there? They may be able to better target the info the teacher is going for. In that class I had, there was one friend of mine who would peg her questions every time!

Don't let it get to you. All of us had our "difficult subjects" ---for me, it was fluid/electolytes and acid-base balances. It seems so easy, should be, but it stymied me for some reason. Take what you can from this experience---remember you are there to learn, not always can excel. It will get better, be strong and hang in there.

That is just it I did study 2 hours before the exam with the most brightest people in the class shocking enough, even knew more then them. But I told them when the exam would come I would forget everything because I would get anxious and nervouse and sure enough it happened. I made the most stupidest mistakes and didn't read the questions all the way through. I can just kill myself!! I have to make it the next the 3 exams and the killer we only get 35 questions. If I don't I don't think I want to go back. l only have 5 more months to go and am tired as Hell!! I only want to make it. I don't care if it the minimal! Any words of help thanks!!
