Upmc shadyside acceptance

Hi everyone

i applied for shadyside upmc nursing school last month. Has anyone got acceptance letters yet? I'm a little nervous as I scored proficient on my TEAS. I should have studied longer being out of school for 7 years lol

Hi!!

I applied to UPMC Mercy, they all have the same admissions so hopefully this helps!

I sent in my application on Wednesday, March 7th. I called on Friday the 9th to make sure they had gotten all my application materials. She told me that they had gotten everything and I would be hearing a decision from me in "a week or 2". I hadn't heard anything after a week, so I called them again on Friday the 16th. She had told me I would hear in

just a few days". On Tuesday the 20th I received an email saying I was accepted with more information to follow in the mail. On Thursday or Friday (not sure which day because I was working), I received a letter in the mail also saying I was accepted with items I had to mail back stating I was accepting my spot in the program.

So all in all, it took only about two weeks for a decision. I hope this helps!! Let me know if you need any help!

P.S. I would call the Shadyside number and just confirm with them they have all your application materials (transcripts, teas score, application, recommendations, etc). That could also be the hold up on your application if they don't have everything!
