Hi AllNurses community! I have been searching for a thread for the UPMC Mercy Hospital Class of 2015, but alas; no such luck. Therefore, I created one!
I was accepted to start in August 2013 and was looking for others who were, or are looking to be accepted. I know it's early still, but I am ready to start school and secure a study group.
Now to my question: I know Mercy has a tuition contract. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it a good deal? I know they are sending information about it, but I am interested in hearing opinions.
Thanks!
@payday, CLEP is a test that you can take to give you college credit for course like intro to Psych, intro to sociology, human growth & development, etc. it's cheaper than taking the actual course. I've taken all of those classes already, but mercy has a 5 year time limit, so since I've taken those classes more than 5 years ago, I'll have to either take those classes again or take the CLEP test for that course to receive credit. But if you've never had those courses, you can still take the CLEP to receive credit.

Naturalgirl- no I haven't bought any review books. I didn't look on the CLEP website and took the practice tests and I saw they had review books for $10. I'll probably buy those. I am new to this whole CLEP thing. Do I just call the school to sign up? Is there a website or something to show you when they offer tests?
